Today, most home business opportunities are found in the MLM or Direct Sales industry as they are ideal for people looking to achieve financial freedom. So, what’s the difference between MLM and Direct Sales and which one should you choose? While they may have some similarities, the primary difference is the compensation model. The direct sales model is recommended if you want to generate a large income.
MLM is the old traditional business model which has always been based on working hard for 3-5 years to have freedom and better lifestyle as well as to build a life-long residual income for the future. Unfortunately very few network marketers achieve these goals. In this day and age of the internet, MLM distributors are still being taught the old marketing methods such as chasing family and friends, buying leads, cold-calling prospects, bugging strangers and so on. The distributors tend to work very hard around the clock for tiny commissions when they should be making more money for their efforts and watch their teams being depleted due to constant attrition.
At the moment, more and more network marketers quit their MLM businesses as fast as they join! In fact, there are also new MLM company launches coming up all the time and people keep jumping ships, looking for the next big thing. The new company would make promises to be the biggest and the best with their new fantastic products that will change the world. Before you know it, they are faced with the same problems they had in their previous company. Continue reading.
Network marketing is extremely powerful because you can make lots of money, have complete freedom and live the life of your dreams! However, there are so many opportunities out there today and new ones are coming up all the time.
Most people when they join these opportunities, they get so excited and hyped up that they have the best products and they are going to take over the market. Well, in reality that’s not the case. Thousands and thousands of network marketers fail in this industry – they spend themselves out of business every single day!
So, it becomes difficult for new people to know exactly what to look for in a network marketing business and how to choose the best one. In order to be successful in this type of business, you need to do your due diligence – do your research and look out for the criteria HERE:
So you want to fire your boss? You want to make a fortune from home, spend more time with your kids, and retire in style? Have millions invested – your money working for you? Live a life of luxury and leave a legacy? Who doesn’t?
Well I have some GOOD news and some BAD news for you…
The BAD news is that it’s NOT as easy as it sounds to set up and build a successful online business with a good passive income.
You’re probably wondering, how is that possible to magnetically attract more prospects and customers to your business? Well, I didn’t believe that either until it actually happened to me!
See, I failed miserably in my previous MLM business despite the time, effort and money that I put in. I started doubting myself and wondering if I would EVER be able to make any money
Now, Mike Dillard’s inexpensive e-book and FREE bootcamp known as Magnetic Sponsoring changed all that for me! I started practicing “Attraction Marketing” and it really does work…
If you’re looking to achieve financial freedom through network marketing and you’re still committing the 7 deadly sins below, then you’re in for a rude awakening my friend!… These deadly sins will kill your business in its infancy… That’s right, KILL it!
Sin #1: Purchasing expensive, dead-beat leads from your company’s lead vendors… when you SHOULD be generating your own, highly qualified leads completely FREE of charge…
Sin #2: Alienating your family and friends by constantly pitching your opportunity to them… when you SHOULD have qualified prospects contacting you on a daily basis, credit card in hand to buy your products or join your business…
Now you have attracted prospects to your business, so what do you do with them? Do you really have to spend time coaching them? The answer may seem obvious, yet many networkers ignore this important part of building a business and get this wrong.
When I first got involved in network marketing, I had no experience at all and I was assured that I would receive ongoing training and coaching. Unfortunately, a few months down the road, I discovered that everything that I was taught was completely wrong – not a happy discovery! I quit! The fact of the matter is that if you don’t give your prospects support and proper training, they will get stuck and may quit in no time. However, this doesn’t mean holding them by their hands as they also need to play their part.
This brings me to next point. Don’t make the mistake that many MLM’ers make – recruiting every person they bump into, whether they are interested in starting a business or not. When you recruit people who are not right for your business, you are going to spend a lot of time chasing them, trying to motivate them as they will not be producing. What good is this gonna do to your business?
Now you have started your network marketing business and want to know how to promote it so you can attract qualified prospects to join you in your business opportunity as well as buy your products or services. In order to build your network marketing business effectively, you need to use both online and offline marketing strategies. The traditional MLM marketing methods are no longer effective and that explains why people are still struggling in this industry.
But there is one thing that has to be said before you start marketing your business. You MUST stop promoting your network marketing business and promote yourself as a leader and the expert instead. People will stay away from you when you start selling to them directly.
