As you continue to build your network marketing business, you are going to have 95-99% of people who will not wish to join you. They would not be interested as they would probably be looking for something else to match their needs.
So, if you don’t have a way to profit off those people who don’t want to join you, then that means you will be missing out on a massive income opportunity. In addition, you will be setting your business up for failure.
One of the reasons why many network marketing businesses fail is that they don’t generate sufficient funds to sustain themselves. In essence, their advertising and overhead costs exceed the profits that they are making.
This is a common problem in the industry – it takes money to run a network marketing business and many marketers don’t have it! However, there is a strategy that all smart marketers use to generate cashflow upfront and keep their businesses afloat.
It is called a Funded Proposal. It’s rather a fancy term with a simple meaning…
A funded proposal ensures that you do not spend yourself out of business because it provides you with a way to cover your business costs from the onset – very smart! This is achieved by promoting inexpensive products that all network marketers need and can use to run their businesses online. These are commonly known as affiliate products.
The smart thing about a funded proposal, is that it requires very little effort – you can use it on complete autopilot. You can put banners on your blog or websites and add links in your auto responders as well as articles and broadcasts about new products that will help your prospects to build profitable network marketing businesses. That easy!
The other thing is that right from the onset, you will have the opportunity to generate affiliate commissions that you can use to fund the advertising and operating costs for your business. And the income that you generate from your primary business, it’s your profit – it goes straight to your bank account to fund your lifestyle!
This is how leads pay for themselves and how they pay you, the network marketer to prospect them!
If you choose not to use this smart strategy, then you are going to go broke before you achieve any success with your network marketing business.
Are you tired of losing more money than you’re making in your network marketing business? Then set up your very own Funded Proposal system and create multiple income streams to offset your business costs!

Very true Mavis, the interesting part of the whole thing is that one does not necessarily need to make use of a “turn-key” system. If you are operating on a restricted budget, you can get your own system developed using a self-hosted wordpress blog, autoresponder & lead capture form on the blog. This is what I've done & it's working like a charm!
The real objective is to create as many streams of affiliate income as you can – 5 seems to be optimal.
Have an inspired day!
Michael
Very good point Mavis
Many people would beneft greatly by having a funded proposal, but so many just send recuits directly to the opportunity website, in effect losing them if they decide not to join.
Excellent point Mavis, what better way to fund & support your business than by means of the funded proposal. Proven over and over again by the Network Marketing's most successful leaders.
Great post Mavis, I do see many people spending tons of money on their business with no return. There are ways just as you described to get a steady income by offering the lower end items to at least get some money coming in.
Hi Mavis,
Excellent post – the funded proposal is one of the secrets of the industry – and one which has proven successful time and time again.
Thanks for sharing the wisdom.

Thanks for visiting, Peter!
Absolutely! This is the smart way to allow you to stay in the game without borrowing money from yourself to fund your business. Thanks for stopping by, Michael. All the best!
Great advice Mavis, especially for the new marketer. You can be passionate about what you're doing, enjoy the different facets of the industry and work diligently to assist others – but if you don't treat your business as a business you won't be doing any of this for long. Lay the foundation correctly and watch it grow!
To your success,
Karen
Mavis,
The funded proposal is a great way to monetize your efforts. You are absolutely right that everyone does not join you in your primary company but they might find just the product they need with your funded proposal products.
This is great information for any type of business owner to learn from!

That's the way to go! Thanks for stopping by, Ana. All the best, Mavis
Totally agree with you Michael. In terms of a funnel, my thought is to bring in leads from your own opt-in as you say, preferably for your own product, then recommend the self funded proposal on the back end (something of value, moreso than a straight lead generating system).
It's all about implementing smart ways to make you money upfront, so that you don't spend yourself out of business from day 1. Thanks for visiting, Richard. All the best, Mavis
