Today, I just wanted to share with you what I have been up to lately. In one of the previous posts, I announced the arrival of our new baby girl, Lesedi. A week after that, my mum visited us all the way from South Africa for a month, to meet her new granddaughter and spend some time with us.
If you have children of your own, you would know that having a new baby is a life-changing event that brings a wonderful experience that it’s almost indescribable. And you get into a routine that revolves around your new family member – their needs become your priority.
I do my business on the internet and before I had Lesedi I knew that I would not be able to spend as much time on my business as I would like to, especially in the first few weeks. So, my focus was on nursing my new baby and spending time with my mum as well as my family.
My mum has visited us a few times in the past, before I quit my J.O.B. (Just Over Broke) and that meant taking a couple of days off work or taking advantage of the weekends to be with her or leaving her by herself at home 
However, this time her visit was completely different…
We spent quality time together – we went shopping many times, got pampered at the spa, went sight-seeing, went out for meals and just chilled at home catching up and enjoying each other’s company 
We had such a fantastic time that mum extended her stay for another month. Unfortunately good things come to an end… Mum has now gone back home.
And you know what the amazing thing was? I got to enjoy my new baby and my mum while having sales and sign-ups showing up in my e-mail inbox daily – incredible! How did that happen? See, my internet based business makes that possible and even if I choose not to work, my business would still run itself, whether I’m on holiday, shopping or asleep – very powerful!
