Gone are the days of attacking and talking to every person you bump into about your business opportunity. If you’re serious about building your business, you have to start looking at ways to build your network marketing business effectively.
Today’s world of network marketing is all about creating long-lasting relationships. It is true that online marketing strategies are the way to go these days, however connecting with your prospects offline is also essential.
Once you have found new prospects on the internet, give them a call and connect with them without trying to convince them to join you in your business or buy your product.
Here are my tips to help you with building long-lasting relationships:
- Capture contact details from your potential prospects.
- Talk to your potential prospects in a follow-up call.
- Maintain a good line of communication either by e-mail or by phone.
Undoubtedly, network marketing is a people’s business. If you don’t like people or find it difficult to interact with people, then this may not be for you. It’s important to learn the key principles on how to deal with new people you meet online and how to build long-lasting relationships with them.
The key is to show your prospects that you’re a sincere person, you’re an expert and you’re there to give them value. This will help you to develop a real long-term business.

You are so right! Just aggressively trying to sell to people is a numbers game and not a very efficient one.
Most people can smell a salespitch from a mile away and are per definition not interested. Even if you have a product they need, they are on the defensive mode so it will be difficult.
Building a connection and just recommending things has a much higher conversion rate. There are many more strategies that work better than just cold selling a product.
I couldn’t agree with you more, Danny.
