Below are 7 lightbulb moments that took me from a struggling network marketer to a professional internet marketer within a very short period of time:
#1. It dawned on me that if I didn’t set out to create my own income and my own hours of work, then someone else would. The idea of having to work long hours for a boss, with no freedom, was not an option for me. So, I was determined to succeed in my home business no matter what it took.
#2. It dawned on me quickly that I wasn’t gonna get anywhere chasing my family and friends and bugging strangers in the shopping malls. So, I decided to learn how to create my own leads. I came across a simple online system. My upline had no idea about internet marketing, so I had to teach myself and figure things out.
#3. It dawned on me that I needed to find a way to attract people to me and to my business instead of convincing people to join me in my business opportunity or to buy my products. So, I stumbled upon a revolutionary marketing course called Magnetic Sponsoring by Mike Dillard.
This course totally changed my thinking and my perspective on how to manage my home business. I learned that I needed to increase my value to the world. I then stopped promoting my business and started giving value and solutions.
#4. I then started looking at ways to implement the new stuff I was learning into my MLM business. I then bumped into an eye-opening report also written by Mike Dillard called The Coffee House Letter, which revealed the shocking truths about MLM today. It made me realise that everything I was taught to do to build my business was completely wrong – not a happy discovery!
#5. I realised that the real road to success is paved with multiple income streams and the ability to recognise an opportunity and timing!
#6. I also discovered that you need to make high-ticket sales to make a full-time income. This is a dream come true for serious network marketers who are tired of working around the clock for tiny commissions.
I then developed a burning desire to help other serious and motivated entrepreneurs to build successful home businesses online. Shortly after that, I started attracting hungry and motivated individuals to my business.
#7. A few months ago, I had no internet marketing experience at all (zero, zilch, nada!). I only used the internet for e-mails and for browsing. So, I was determined to learn as much as possible and became good at what I was doing, within a very short period of time.
Fast forward to today >> I now own the top spots in the search engines and even rank above my personal mentor on certain keywords! I bet she wasn’t prepared for that! 
I have a video library, over 8,000 followers on Twitter, a growing Facebook group with over 1,500 members as well as articles and press releases live online. I get to learn from the top marketing professionals and get to pick the brains of the top income earners in the industry. I also had the privilege of working with the best PPC marketing trainers on the internet.
I’m sharing these moments with you right now because I know for a fact that there are people reading this right now who have been in my shoes, who could be future internet marketing stars. A fact is, people can be hesistant to take action until they know what sort of training they will get to become successful.

Isn't this great! Attraction marketing and learning how to be an attractive marketer are the keys to network marketing.
I came close to doing business with Mike Dillard but at the time Ann Sieg did a better job of attracting me. Although i have high respect for Mike and am a member of his Betternetworker social site/forum which is awesome.
In my book Ann, Mike, and Mike Klingler are top dogs in this training business for network marketers. Funny thing is now they are all in business together.

I was one of those selling tat in network marketing 10 years ago burning shoes leather carrying magazines and travelling half way round the country to conferences. I burned out big time.
I had a thought yesterday that coming up against barriers, there are different ways of negotiating them. I smashed through mine. That’s great isn’t it. But smashing through causes injuries along the way. I’m finding safer ways to negotiate those barriers now. Interesting post. Thanks.

To learn web marketing is not that easy but its not that hard either. Working for someone is not for everybody. There comes a time when we wake we just decide that ,”hey i want to work for me. not for somebody else.”
Internet marketing is just any other advertising. There are also ethics to be exercised.

As far as being your own boss is concerned, the major reason for running a business on the internet should not be because you are tired with your boss or because you are working for someone else. It should because you have a passion. Passion will drive you in running a business on the internet alongside you having discovered a business opportunity that is of great potential.

I think the most important thing in realizing your own business, or actually any dream: Motivation.
You need to really want it…bad. There are many barriers to break, if you are not motivated enough/ weak willed then the first or second barrier will stop you, and once you stop it is much harder to break the barrier.
Don’t take breaks in your growth, always move forward. Use the momentum of your previous progress to break the next barrier.
