Below are 7 lightbulb moments that took me from a struggling network marketer to a professional internet marketer within a very short period of time:

#1.  It dawned on me that if I didn’t set out to create my own income and my own hours of work, then someone else would. The idea of having to work long hours for a boss, with no freedom, was not an option for me. So, I was determined to succeed in my home business no matter what it took.

#2.  It dawned on me quickly that I wasn’t gonna get anywhere chasing my family and friends and bugging strangers in the shopping malls. So, I decided to learn how to create my own leads. I came across a lead generation system called MLM Lead System Pro. My upline had no idea about internet marketing, so I had to teach myself and figure things out.

#3.  It dawned on me that I needed to find a way to attract people to me and to my business instead of convincing people to join me in my business opportunity or to buy my products. So, I stumbled upon a revolutionary marketing course called Magnetic Sponsoring by Mike Dillard. This course totally changed my thinking and my perspective on how to manage my home business. I learned that I needed to increase my value to the world. I then stopped promoting my business and started giving value and solutions.

#4.  I then started looking at ways to implement the new stuff I was learning into my MLM business. I then bumped into an eye-opening report also written by Mike Dillard called The Coffee House Letter, which revealed the shocking truths about MLM today. It made me realise that everything I was taught to do to build my business was completely wrong – not a happy discovery!

#5.  I then realised that the internet had killed MLM for good! I also noticed that more and more network marketers were choosing the “GPT” (Get Paid Today) structure over the traditional MLM model. And most top income earners in the industry have turned their backs on shakes, potions and lotions and are now working with the “Top Tier” companies.

I soon found a Top Tier company called CarbonCopyPRO which partnered up with a cutting-edge direct sales company called Wealth Masters International, which specialises in the best financial based educational products. #6.  I then discovered that the compensation plan was more attractive than what I was used to in MLM. The commissions range between $1,000 and $7,500 per ONE sale and you would also earn between $400 and $4,000 in residual income. I was thrilled and realised that this is the dream come true for serious network marketers who are tired of working around the clock for tiny commissions.

I then developed a burning desire to help other serious and motivated entrepreneurs to build successful home businesses online. Shortly after that, I started attracting hungry and motivated individuals to my business.

#7.  A few months ago, I had no internet marketing experience at all (zero, zilch, nada!). I only used the internet for e-mails and for browsing. So, I was determined to learn as much as possible and became good at what I was doing, within a very short period  of time.

Fast forward to today >> I now own the top spots in the search engines and even rank above my personal mentor on certain keywords! I bet she wasn’t prepared for that! I have a video library, over 5,600 followers on Twitter, a growing Facebook group with over 1,800 members as well as articles and press releases live online. I get to learn from the top marketing professionals and get to pick the brains of the top income earners in the industry. I now have the privilege of working with the best PPC marketing trainers on the internet.

I’m sharing these moments with you right now because I know for a fact that there are people reading this right now who have been in my shoes, who could be future internet marketing stars. A fact is, people can be hesistant to take action until they know what sort of training they will get to become successful.

Sometimes it just takes some assurance that you will not be left to do it on your own. The truth is, you can’t do it on your own. You need a good and supportive mentor behind you.
